Most common questions about Glamping answered! Giltraps FAQ:Yes the glamping site is open 365 days a year so you can come visit anytime. In peak seasons such as summer it’s to book early to avoid disappointment. Most room rates do not include breakfast however, a hearty breakfast is available for purchase in the local coffee shop. Yes we have an extensive range of packages – The packages cater to every taste and come bundled with some of the local activities and cuisine on offer in Kinnitty! Refer to our Packages Page for more information. There is an onsite coffee shop which serves delicious snacks & treats. Hearty meals are available from the local pub and offer a wide range of cuisine to cater to everyone’s preferences. Yes we have a large parking lot available for guests. Yes. We can accommodate large groups for hen parties, stags and birthday parties. We strongly recommend booking in advance so you can book as many cabins together as required. Yes there is wifi on the glamping grounds. When checking in we will give you the wifi password. No smoking is not allowed anywhere in our glamping site.The tents vary is size but the largest can accommodate up to 4 guests. There will be heating in the cabins but there is no fire pit on site. You shouldn’t have to bring anything other than clothes and personal care items. Remember to bring warm clothes as it gets cold at night outside and you may want to sit out. Reception stock some useful items such as disposable barbeques however, there is a local store a short drive away incase you forgot anything. There is a kitchenette available which provides tea and coffee making facilities. There is a fridge, toaster, and microwave available for use. Otherwise, disposable barbeques can be purchased at reception. Yes we will provide all the towels and linen so no need to bring a sleeping bag. The cancellation policy is 7 days. If we don’t receive 7 days notice for cancellation, you will be charged for the first night. Yes the local major roadways serve Kinnitty so the area is quite accessible within 2 hours driving distance from all of Irelands’ major cities; Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork and Waterford. The towns which are in close proximity include Birr (11 km), Tullamore (30 km) and Roscrea (17 km). You can do many activities in Kinnitty. The most popular being hiking or cycling in the Slieve Bloom mountains, however, Kinnitty is also full of history so you could check out the infamous Kinnitty Castle or Kinnity Pyramid – the first pyramid in Ireland!
