What Is Glamping?
Glamping or “glamorous camping” pairs destinations with the intimacy of camping and the world of luxury travel. Glamping provides a holidaying experience like no other, you get the same quality & comfort that a hotel can offer but on a more natural & relaxing level. Here at Giltraps Townhouse and Glamping you are situated on the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountain’s in the heart of the picturesque village of Kinnitty. The serenity of Kinnitty and the surrounding countryside certainly trumps the hustle and bustle of the urban lifestyle and will be a breath of fresh air to you and your fellow glampers.

What To Bring
We always suggest to our guests to bring an extra layer for the night time as you might want to sit out, have a drink and enjoy the sun going down over the mountains, or relax under the stars. Considering the fluctuating climate in Ireland, it’s best to pack clothes for both wet and dry climates. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and attire for the local activities.
